The site outlines the five goals of the program which are to: 1) Develop State/NOAA Coordination and Technical Support; 2) Deploy Tsunami Detection Buoys; 3) Produce Inundation Maps; 4) Develop Hazard Mitigation Programs, and 5) Improve Seismic Networks. The site addresses the tsunami concerns of the states of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Orgeon, and Washington.
